Ben Rhydding Mens 5th X1 were the only team that played due to the cold weather.They were lying 4th in the league at Christmas and played Leeds Adel Carnegie who were 5th.
The 5ths got off to a great start and Tony Hatton scored from a rebound after good work from Mike Nixon and Martin Higgitt, Hatton got his 2nd goal after a great cross from youngster James Snook and Hatton got his hat trick just before half-time.
Adel did not give up and pressed hard and eventually got 1 back, they pressed for a second but Ben Rhydding's defence held strong particularly good work from Matt Jerram, Howard Pickard and Mark ketteman.
The final goal was crucial anf not for the 1st time this season was a result of Nixon finding Higgitt who beat 1 defender and then beat the keeper, to score his 15th of the season.
