Ben Rhydding 5th X1 lost for the 1st time this year, beaten by a well drilled Lincoln team. They started off slowly and lost their key forward Martin Higgitt early through injury.Lincoln scored after a defensive mistake, but Ben Rhrdding came back into the game and had chances to equalise before half time.
The 5th X1 continued to press and had several short corners but Lincoln managed to attaack quickly and were awarded a penalty flick which they scored.
Ben Rhydding still didn't give up and should have been awarded a penalty flick after Richad Dawson had his shot saved by a lIncoln foot heading into the goal.
Through bad discipline captain Nixon was yellow carded arguing against the decision, this left them 1 man down but Ben Rhydding carried on battling but still could not find a way through.
Lincoln nmanaged to score a third after Ben Rhydding had pushed even more forward. Richard Marsh was made man of the match.
