BRHC 5ths were away to Harrogate 4ths the league leaders and in a tough match emerged winners 2-1.
After opening well in the first 10 minutes,Harrogate exerted alot of pressure and deserved to go into half time 1-0 up.After the break Rhydding applied their own pressure resulting in a text book short corner slotted
home by Hatton,an old 5th team hand back patrolling the left wing.A few minutes later,Hatton scored again from another well worked short corner after some good movement around the circle.Rhydding then had to withstand
a furious onslaught for 15 minutes which they did
with Ned Kelly,Lowe,Woodhead,Blackburn and Hutton
all playing their part in this rearguard action.
