In a close fought match on grass,the final result was a 1-1 draw,however this only tells part of the story.The first half belonged to Sheffield although a well taken goal by Chris Sunderland ment we went into half time 1-1.The second half Rhydding played some great hockey with Chris Sunderland,John Hornby and Noel Hutton(both supervets)putting some serious work down the right hand side.Rhydding had 3 saved off the line and coutless shots well saved,but were unable to score a winner.The final score could easily have been 4-4,but in the end both defences played their part in this enjoyable contest.
