It is with great sadness that Ben Rhydding Ladies Hockey club announces the tragic and sudden passing of Dot Mainwaring following a brief illness and struggle with a brain tumour.

She was a dear friend, wonderful leader and influenced many a young player during her long and illustrious playing career.

All members of the hockey family are invited to attend her funeral on Friday 12th February at St Barnabas Church, Ashwell Road, Heaton BD9 4AU at 1.15pm.
