After last week's result, this was a slightly disappointing score line. Bridlington were an organised unit with strong players that we struggled to contain. We worked hard to create chances and were rewarded with a number of short corners that just wouldn't go in - you got the feeling it was going to be one of those days....
Bridlington were 2 - 0 up at half time and continued to use their key play makers to good effect in the second half. A game played in good spirits by both teams despite the umpires efforts to upset this with 7 cards handed out along with multiple infringements spotted at short corners. The spectators even got themselves a warning. A disappointing end to our winning run, but onwards and upwards, it's Halifax at home 4.30pm on Saturday, pitch 1.
