22nd Jan 2022 Ladies 5th v Hudd Dragons 3(Away) 3 - 2 win
Saturday - A hard fought game at Huddersfield, with the Ladies 5ths coming away with a 3-2 win! System of 4 in mid field seems to have ‘steadied the ship’ for the team. EKS had yet another great game and young Phoebe Midgley covered every part of the pitch.
After a long absence with injuries, Maddie Medcroft and Megan worked the ball well between them, ably assisted by Bella. Becca up front gave us some speed and ball pace (ably assisted by dad who did the substitutions for us on time).
Oatsy and Mags were solid and Nicola and Heather continue to work hard for the team and seem to be enjoying their hockey. So pleased for Lindsay who scored! Need to check with Oatsy who else scored – sorry.
