27th Oct 2018 Mens 2nd v Sheffield Hallam 5 (Home) 6 - 1 win

Despite the score line this wasn't the teams best performance of the season. Short bursts of sharp passing, hard running and clear thinking were interspaced with periods of play which lacked focus and saw players running into contact needlessly.

Sheffield were on top for most of the first 20 minutes yet found themselves 2-0. The better of these goals was Liam Terry's first of the season which was shot high into the goal over the prone keeper. Half-time saw BR turn round 3-0 ahead and in control.

Tom Ibison had his best game this season marshalling the defence with Will Bradley and MoM Mat Powell working extremely hard in midfield. Billy Hagan added a fourth in his last game for the club before heading off to become a ski instructor - Good luck Billy. Sheffield then struck back with a rare opportunity. A well taken short corner routine saw them pass round the defence and score inside the left post.

The result was beyond doubt before Ollie Burton then Luke Davison scored late in the game to wrap up the win.
