9th Mar 2019 Mens 2nd v City of York 4(Away) 3 - 4 loss
After being crowned champions last weekend against Halifax, we went into this game full of confidence. We started the game on top with some confident passing and composed play was finished off with a Tom Burton goal. Some more nice play led to another goal courtesy of Will Bradley. After some more play York managed to get a counter attack and score. 2-1 up at half time.
After a half time, York came out quickly from the restart and managed to score another counter attack goal before Tom Burton rounded the keeper and score his 2nd and made the score 3-2. We then kept on passing and attacking which lead to York managing to score another 2 quick counter attack goals making the scoreline 4-3 in their favour.
Unfortunate result in the end for the 2s but having cementing the league title the previous week the result hasn�t made a massive difference to the league table.
Bring on a long awaited home game next week.
