1st Dec 2018 Mens 3rd v Tadcaster Magnets 1(Away) 0 - 2 loss
On a dreary, drizzly day in Tadcaster, the 3rds put in a performance to match the weather. Having started brightly with Joe Cussons going close twice early on, Tadcaster grew into the game and we gave away two sloppy goals midway through the first half to deflections from crashed balls into the D.
We rearranged at half time to go three up front, but couldn't break down a resilient Tadcaster defence, not helped when Joe Cussons had to retire after taking a powerful hit to his ankle.
Andy Sutherland was man of the match for his tireless work and brave tackling in midfield. Mark Horsman, Sam Bretherick and Josh Hughes also had good games.
We'll need to be much better for the return fixture with the 4ths next week.
