20th Oct 2018 Mens 5th v BR M7 friendly(Home) 3 - 1 win
Both of their oppositions having blobbed, the Men's 5s and the Dev 7s combined for a friendly.
We mixed the teams up to even them out and had a really good game.
Tinall snuck in a very early goal when a bit of loose defending and a bobbling ball bounced past Paddy to go up 1-0. He consolidated the White's position with a much more authentic goal in the second half, collecting a pass in the D and knocking it past Paddy into the top of the net.
Abbott scored from a lovely pass into the D from Henry Nightingale which he chipped into the net, bringing the Maroons into the game at 2-1. However, Aidan Fraser finished off a very strong attack with a couple of goes at the ball, the second of which connected to make the final score 3-1.
It was great to welcome two new adults to the game, Ken and Glenda Cumberland, playing with their son James. They played well and we'll hopefully see more of them in the 7s.
Lots of fun, and definitely better than missing a week.
