2nd Mar 2019 Mens 5th v Leeds Adel 5(Home) 1 - 0 win

An absorbing mid-table encounter between Ben Rhydding and Adel (not that there were many watching at 10am) started with the Adel midfield dominating the play for the first 10 minutes. Gradually the home side managed to gain control with a steady performance from Mark Kimber galvanizing the midfield, and Aidan Lee-Wardell and Petur Benedikz providing the inventiveness down the right side. With control of midfield, Rhydding created a number of chances, some missing the goal and others well saved by the Adel keeper.
The second half followed a similar pattern with Adel starting the stronger, Jacob Smithson making a couple of crucial saves, followed by Ben Rhydding coming back into the game. Mac Brumfitt was energetic in the front line, looking for opportunity to score, but it was Jon Till who broke the deadlock and score the only goal of the game.
