28th Sep 2019 Mens 5th v Leeds AdelĀ 5(Away) 0 - 2 loss

An improved performance by the 5th team, particularly influenced by Mark Kimber's control in midfield. On another day and a little more luck they could have been rewarded with at least a draw, Dan Tilbrook's thunderbolt of a strike when only 0-1 down finding the chest pad of the Adel keeper.

As a whole, match was very even, the Ben Rhydding midfield working hard to contain the younger opposition, the passing was more precise than the previous week and Ben Rhydding built some good attacking moves.

The defence looked fairly secure, Rob Pratt called on to make a few good saves, but a lapse in concentration in the first half when the forward was first to the ball as it rebounded of Rob's pads, saw Adel take the lead against the run of play and then in the second half doubled the lead when the defender cleared to the top the D, gifting Adel a second strike on goal.
