You may have read my previous reports and wondered whether I had been at the match, well I was not there for this match versus Acomb!
What I do know is that this was another fantastic result against one of the stronger teams in the league. What happened at the beginning I am not sure, but somehow Blackie was not on the pitch for the start of the match, was he still working through his extensive warm up routine?
The goal was scored by Tilly, somehow connecting with a pass from Dan to deflect the ball into the net, lucky or skillfull, who cares.
The Man of the Match vote was awarded to Jonathan Wood. But a great team performance to keep another clean sheet, are the defence better without me?
So a 1-0 win, six points in the bag, we can be happy with that.
