26th Oct 2019 Mens 5th v Bingley Bees1(Away) 1 - 6 loss

This was going to be a tough fixture, Bingley have regularly been close to the top of the league in previous seasons. However the 5ths will have been disappointed to have conceded 6 goals. The back line was much changed from the previous week, with Ian Shutt completing a 100,000 miles bike ride, our resident mathematician recons that is several times around the world! and Bingley capitalised on the mistakes. Paddy Hagan made several good saves.

Max Bradley was the main threat going forward, his speed causing the Bingley defence all sorts of problems. His goal came from one such sortie, first driving down the right wing, before being carrying the ball into the D and looping it past the keeper from an acute angle. His performance earned him Man of the Match.
