A thoroughly enjoyable friendly game at Adel in the April sunshine. Rhydding were the better side in the first half with young debutants Pickles, Dockar and Howley putting their close skills to good effect and this combination led to the first goal with Howley finishing smartly from a cross from Pickles. Adel leveled on the stroke of half-time and scored again to take the lead in the second half, before Pickles equalised for Rhydding. However, as the game ran on Rhydding's older players start to flag against a younger and faster Adel side who scored two more goals to put the game out of reach.
