Phillip Blackburn�s Development team Entertained top of the table team City of York and triumphed with a 1-0 victory their goal coming in the first half from midfielder Robert
Eldsworth.
The development side surprisingly dominated the first half and really should have gone in at half time with a few more goals as chances fell frequently to the forward line, Zak had an excellent effort going very close with a first time hit, but no matter what the Development tried the second goal would not come.
The second half was a complete reverse and not surprisingly York got into their rhythm it took some key defending from Mackenzie Brumfitt and Scott Wardle, Scott�s defending was exceptional as it always has been this season and kept city of York at bay whilst they maintained good Possession they did not really threaten when in Rhydding D.
A very good result but this Development team now need to start realising the next level is ahead of them which they will achieve provided they listen and more importantly respect Phillip�s advice.
