23rd Nov 2019 Mens 7th v Slazengers �6(Away) 6 - 4 win
We were short of players this week but Slazenger�s were keen to play and were happy to lend us a goalie and some of their outfield players. We went 3-0 down fairly quickly but soon found our feet to recover to be back to 3-3 by half time. In the second half we really took control of the game and finished with a win of 6-4! Superb effort from everyone on a wet and miserable day. Some lovely passing and playing the ball back if needed, combined with some really confident runs. Tom Oates was solid and strong in defence, and the midfield of Caleb, Will and Tom passed and moved the ball around well, making space nicely. In front of them but also supporting further back when needed were Aidan and Keira who both had some lovely runs.
Reports from the sidelines say that Caleb was awesome. He played so well, great tackles, amazing running and positioning and he scored too :)
Nice to see Will Jones keeping up his hat trick record.
Thanks again to Slazenger�s as it was a very friendly game and their players added a lot to how well we were able to play together.
