Philosophy

The aim is to instil strong values and most importantly, an ethos of respect, trust and ownership.

Happy, confident and motivated players will always play well. Discipline and consistency are vital in both training and playing. Tolerance, acceptance and humour help to create a safe, purposeful and enjoyable environment. Everyone must feel valued. Every player in the team is needed.

Two-way communication is essential; even the smallest issue must be listened to.

To develop a player, clear and positive instructions are required. Rather than highlighting what is wrong, explain how to do it better.  The highest expectations possible are the ones to have of any individual and any team.

Each player is unique and needs to be understood. They all learn in different ways.

You cannot make players and teams brilliant; they do that for themselves. All you can do is give them the tools to make it happen and the self belief.
