BRHC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of its members, especially our colts section and takes its duty of care and responsibilities to provide a safe and effective environment in which children can come and learn about the sport of hockey.
Our National Governing Body recognises clubs efforts in providing them with a Clubs 1st mark. this incorporates all aspects of health and safety including First Aid, reporting of any accidents and Child Protection issues. Child Welfare Officers continue in their role and if parents, coaches or youngsters have any concerns or wish information, please do not hesitate to contact her.
All coaches have been informed of their responsibilities and the procedures that they should follow. Parents & guardians also have a role to play in ensuring their youngsters enjoy and succeed in colts hockey.
